When a service provider signs up, we verify three things before their listing goes public:
- Local presence. Their business address, service area, and contact information must place them in Wilson County or its immediately neighboring zip codes.
- Active operation. They must have an active business license, an operational web presence, or other indicators that they are currently open for work.
- Direct ownership of the listing. The contact email on the listing must match the email used during signup, and the business owner (or their delegated employee) must be the one accepting leads.
What "Verified Local" means
The "Verified Local" badge on a provider's profile signals that we have completed the steps above. It is not an endorsement of the quality of their work — that's what reviews are for.
